Blazer Jobs is now interviewing for a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a collaborative and student-focused school district in Yuma, Arizona, for the 20252026 school year. About the Role
The SLPA will work under the direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and eager to foster student growth through high-quality, individualized support.
Responsibilities

Deliver direct speech and language therapy services under SLP supervision.

Implement IEP goals and assist in progress monitoring.

Provide classroom-based communication support and consultation.

Maintain accurate documentation and assist with data collection.

Participate in team meetings, training, and IEP conferences when needed.
Qualifications

Active Arizona SLPA license (or eligibility prior to start date).

Associates degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.

Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
